Tiger snakes are a genus of elapids from coastal regions of southern Austraila and Tasmania, Chappell Island and King Island. They marked by bold bands around their bodies and inhabit wetlands, stream banks, and coastlines. Tiger snakes are territorial. There are two species of tiger snake (N. scutatus and N. ater), divided up into several subspecies. All tiger snakes are similar enough to fit within one game description or template.
