Potoroos in GURPS
Potorous sp.
Potoroos are potoroids that live in dense brush, scurrying around in trackways they leave as they forage.
- Long-footed potoroos Potorous longipes are found in scattered populations in south Australia. They typically mass about 2 kg for males, 1.7 kg for females.
- Long-nosed potoroos Potorous tridactylus are found along Australia's south-east coast, much of Tasmania, and several adjacent islands. They generally have masses around 0.7 to 1.6 kg.
- Gilbert's potoroo Potorous gilbertii is currently found in extreme southwest Australia. It was, for a time, thought to be extinct until this one relic population was discovered. It masses between about 0.8 and 1.2 kg for both sexes.
