Saki Monkeys in GURPS

Pithecia sp.

Saki monkeys are from South American jungles. They are stoutly built, with thick fur, broad flat noses, and long strong hind legs for jumping. Saki have long tails, but they are not prehensile. They can run on their hind legs as well as on all fours. Sakis mostly eat fruit and seeds, with some insects, flowers, leaves, honey, and even the occasional bird or bat.

Sakis are monogamous, forming lifelong pair bonds. Groups of related pairs live together and hold and defend territories. They communicate with high pitched cries and twittering; warning cries are loud roars. Saki are usually shy around humans.
