Galagos, also known as bushbabies, are nocturnal primates native to Africa's forests and jungles. They have large ears and eyes for sensing their night-time world, long tails for balance, and very large and powerful hind legs for theri size. Their cries are reminiscent of a human infant. Galagos are fast and agile, and can snatch insects out of the air. They are excellent jumpers. In addition to insects, they eat small vertebrates, eggs, fruit, seeds, nuts, flowers, and gum.
