Elasmotherium in GURPS

Elasmotherium sp.

Elasmotherium was a genus of large rhinoceros from the Pliocene and Pleistocene of Europe and Asia. It is now extinct. Very similar genera could be found as early as the Miocene. Unlike other rhinos, its legs were adpated for galloping. It was probably a grazer. It most likely had a single enormous horn that grew between its eyes, with a base that reached from its crown to the bridge of its nose, but this is not absolutely certain. It is unknown if Elasmotherium had hair. It probably lived in open habitats, but no firm conclusion can be drawn.
