Bdelogale Mongooses in GURPS

The genus Bdelogale consists of three species of mongoose found in the jungles of central and western Africa. They are terrestrial, nocturnal, and prey on insects and small vertebrates.
- The black-footed mongoose Bdeogale nigripes lives in the Congo in dense jungle. It has a typical adult mass between 1 and 3 kg.
- The bushy-tailed mongoose Bdeogale crassicauda is found in east-central Africa.
- Jackson's mongoose Bdeogale jacksoni is found in the vicinity of Lake Victoria. It's adult mass is usually around 2 to 3 kg. This species specializes in eating army ants, although it will happily eat other insects and small animals.
