Sloth bears are lanky bears with long, shaggy black coats from India. They eat mostly termites, although they will supplement their diet with plant matter. These bears often travel in pairs of adults, as the male is fond of his cubs and accompanies his mate.
When disturbed, they commonly charge as a bluff. When not a bluff, they have the habit of attacking the arms and legs, knocking a person over and chewing on his limbs until they come off or are crushed to a pulp.
