Asian Black Bears in GURPS

Ursus thibetanus

The Asian black bear is found in the Himalayas through southeast Asia to Korea and the islands of Japan, although in prehistoric times they ranged as far west as Germany and France. They are typically found in forests and mountains. It is black in color with a white patch on the chest. This species is an avid climber. It is said to be more aggressive towards humans than most other bear species, and their are numerous reports of unprovoked attacks.
