Cave Bears in GURPS

Ursus spelaeus

Cave bears are an extinct species of bear from Europe's Pleistocene, closely related to the brown bear but with a large, domed skull. Their remains are often found in caves, leading to speculation that they mostly denned in natural caves. Their preferred habitat seems to have been forests and forest edges. Both morphology and isotope analysis of the bones indicates that these bears were mostly herbivorous.
