Feral Dogs

Canis familiaris

Feral dogs are now found worldwide, genrally in association with man. After a few generations, they tend to converge on a jackal-like body plan, with a lean body, long legs, alert eyes, pointed snout, upright ears, and a bushy, curly tail. They usually are found in small packs near the outskirts of human civilization, scavanging human waste and opportunistically taking small game.
