The Cape hunting dog is a spotted pack hunter from Africa. It lives in grasslands, scrub, and open forests. Although smaller and differing in appearance, it's behavior is similar to that of the wolf. The cape hunting dog lets out wailing hoots when pursuing prey to help keep the pack together.
