Bush dogs are inhabitants of South America's jungles. They have short legs, a build something like that of a pig, and a strong vinnegar smell. The webbing between their toes and their sleek, torpedo form makes them strong swimmers. These dogs are highly carnivorous, and hunt in packs to bring down game much larger than themselves. They shelter in hollow logs and burrows. Pack mates keep in contact by whining to overcome poor visibility in the jungle underbrush.
