Smoke and Irritants

Irritants cause pain and inflamation of the mucous membranes plus copious excretion of tears, mucous, etc. Irritants in the eyes lead to blurry vision, involuntary closing of the eyelids, and temporary blindness. Inhaling irritants causes coughing and choking. Typical irritants include tear gas and pepper spray. Some irritants can be mildly toxic, such as smoke. These are area effect or cone respiratory and vision based agents.

• Smoke
  • Choose a number from 1 to 10 for the smoke's density
  • Area effect
  • Respiratory agent: coughing, scratch wound of corrosive damage to the torso; HT-density to resist, 10 second delay.
  • Vision based agent: Bad Sight (nearsighted and farsighted), secondary Blindness; HT-density to resist, 10 second delay.
  • Opaque: -density to vision per meter.
• Concealment/marking Smoke
  • Area effect
  • Respiratory agent: coughing, scratch wound of corrosive damage to the torso; HT to resist, 10 second delay.
  • Vision based agent: Bad Sight (nearsighted and farsighted), secondary Blindness; HT to resist, 10 second delay.
  • Opaque: completely blocks vision and lasers.
• CN tear gas
  • Area effect
  • Respiratory agent: coughing, moderate pain, secondary choking; HT to resist, no delay.
  • Vision based agent: Bad Sight (nearsighted and farsighted), secondary Blindness; HT to resist, no delay.
  • Exteded duration × 3 - effects last for three minutes per point of failure after leaving the gas cloud.
  • Opaque: -1 to vision per meter.
• CS tear gas
  • Area effect
  • Respiratory agent: coughing, moderate pain, secondary choking; HT-1 to resist,no delay.
  • Vision based agent: Bad Sight (nearsighted and farsighted), secondary Blindness; HT-1 to resist, no delay.
  • Exteded duration × 3 - effects last for three minutes per point of failure after leaving the gas cloud.
  • Opaque: -1 to vision per meter.
• OC pepper spray
  • Cone
  • Respiratory agent: coughing, severe pain, secondary agony; HT-2 to resist,no delay.
  • Vision based agent: Blindness; HT to resist, no delay.
  • Exteded duration × 10 - effects last for ten minutes per point of failure after leaving the gas cloud.

Irritants cost $1 per dose and are LC 4.
