Dot was hatched on the second day of the millenium, Jan 2, 2001. He is a good sized male argus monitor, in need of a girlfriend.
Dot makes more of a mess of his water than any monitor I have ever seen. Throughout the day, he'll be going in and out of it. This gets him wet, dirt sticks to him, and then washes off in his water dish the next time he goes in it. It also splashes water all over his enclosure, getting it wet. I never have to worry about insufficient humidity with Dot.
